Disable Sending Data for Google Analytics

As detailed in the EULA, Tufin collects Google Analytics data from browsers connected to the internet using TOS. If a business does not allow the collection of such data, the user can disable it by setting the value of SEND_AURORA_ANALYTICS to false in the database table properties. Since the value does not appear by default, the user must add it in order to mark it as disabled.

Disabling send_aurora_analytics

1. Enter the PSQL database.

   [<ADMIN> ~]$ sudo kubectl exec -it stolon-keeper-0 -- psql -h stolon-proxy securetrack -Upostgres

2. Begin a session.

   securetrack=# begin;

   begin;

   The output returns BEGIN.

3. Add the value SEND_AURORA_ANALYTICS and set to 'false'.

   securetrack=# INSERT INTO properties (key, value) VALUES ('SEND_AURORA_ANALYTICS', 'false');

   INSERT INTO properties (key, value) VALUES ('SEND_AURORA_ANALYTICS', 'false');

   The output returns INSERT 0 1.

4. Verify that the value has been added.

   securetrack=# select * from properties;

   select * from properties;

   The table appears. Confirm that the new value has been added.

5. Commit the change

   securetrack=# commit;

   commit;

   The change is committed. No statistics will be sent to Google Analytics.
