Opening a Request by Email

This topic is intended for SecureChange workflow owners, who are responsible for creating and maintaining workflows. |
SecureChange users can send an email to a mailbox that you configured. SecureChange checks the email account every 60 minutes. When SecureChange receives an email, it opens a request in the workflow selected for the mailbox and submits the request with this field mapping:

SecureChange looks at the email address in the From field of the email, finds the SecureChange user with that email address, and opens the request with that user as the requester. If the email address in the email's From field is not found in the SecureChange users, a message is added to
Settings > Message Board.
