Troubleshooting Network Connectivity
Overview
If you suspect a network connectivity problem, try the following steps, in the order that they appear. After trying each step, check whether the problem persists. If so, continue to the next step.
Determine network connectivity issue

Try to connect from the SecureTrack host to the monitored device (for example, with the ping command). If unsuccessful, make sure that your network and routing is properly configured.

Make sure that there is connectivity between the two hosts over the required ports, by using telnet:
telnet <IP> <port#>
If a port is closed, configure organizational firewalls to open the port.

For a non-Check Point monitored device, make sure that the device configuration allows authenticated Telnet/SSH connections.
