AI Assistants

Overview

AI Assistants provide faster and more intuitive ways to complete common tasks in TOS. Enter your requests in natural language, and AI Assistants automatically generate the responses in the required format. For example, search for a rule or device, and AI Assistant Search generates the corresponding TQL query, runs it, and displays the results.

The requests are securely processed according to Tufin’s data privacy and security standards.

Free-trial period
Based on your TOS version, available AI features include a complimentary three-month trial period that begins when the feature is enabled. At the end of the trial period, the feature is disabled.
To continue or restore access to one or more AI features, you need an AI-Assistant license. For more information, contact your account manager.

AI Assistant capabilities

  • Switch to AI Assistant mode

    Seamlessly switch to AI Assistant mode where supported with a single click. See AI Assistant availability.

  • Natural language

    Type what you need in plain text—for example, questions, phrases, full sentences, or fields with values—based on the AI Assistant you use.

  • Automatic transformation

    AI Assistants convert your request into the appropriate format:

    • Search: Generates the corresponding TQL query.

    • Access Requests: Generates structured fields from your connectivity requirements.

    • Dashboards: Creates a custom chart from your description.

  • Feedback-driven improvement

    Use the built-in feedback option to help improve the accuracy and quality of generated responses.

AI Assistant availability

Availability varies by feature and release. AI features must be enabled before you can use them.

AI Assistant Search

Type queries in natural language, and AI Assistant Search automatically generates the equivalent TQL query, runs it, and displays the results. See Using AI Assistant Search.

Provide source, destination, and service details. The AI Assistant Access Request processes your input, generates the access request, and populates the fields for a new access request. See Using AI Assistant Access Request.

TufinAI Executive Dashboard

Create custom charts that focus on what you need. Provide the requirements for the chart in natural language. The AI Assistant Executive Dashboard processes your input, generates the chart, and adds it to your dashboard. See TufinAI Executive Dashboard.

Data, privacy, and security

  • AI Assistants collect data for performance analysis and internal software improvements.

  • All sensitive data is encrypted with restricted access.

  • Customer data is not used to train or develop the AI Assistant models.

  • There is no direct connection to the cloud: the connection is established through the browser, which acts as a proxy between the Tufin Cluster and Tufin Cloud.
